On October 15, 2026, the Student Council hosted the Senior Form School Policy Exchange Meeting, establishing an open and constructive platform for dialogue between students and school leadership. Designed to enhance mutual communication and nurture civic responsibility, the event empowered student representatives to present well-reasoned proposals directly to the school administration to help shape a better campus environment.
A Rigorous Democratic Process
To ensure that all raised topics reflected broad student consensus and offered viable solutions, each senior class held a mandatory class meeting prior to the event. Students collaboratively identified campus issues, formulated logical arguments, and drafted actionable proposals. Only proposals receiving majority approval through a whole-class vote were officially carried forward by class representatives. This structured procedure not only embodied democratic decision-making but also strengthened class cohesion and collective responsibility.
Direct Dialogue with School Leadership
During the meeting, the Principal and both Vice Principals listened attentively to every presentation and provided insightful, real-time responses to each item. Beyond directly addressing student inquiries, the leadership team explained the rationale, administrative considerations, and strategic goals behind various school policies. This transparent exchange allowed student representatives to gain a comprehensive understanding of institutional operations and resource management.
Empowering Students Through Multi-Faceted Benefits
The School Policy Exchange Meeting extended far beyond a standard Q&A session, delivering meaningful educational outcomes:
• Enhancing Critical Thinking & Public Speaking
• Developing Communication & Negotiation Skills
• Fostering Civic Responsibility & Ownership
• Strengthening Mutual Trust & Transparency
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Principal and Vice Principals for their dedicated time and guidance, and we commend all senior class representatives for their thorough preparation and outstanding presentations. We look forward to working together to build an even stronger school community!
