S5 Physics Outing：Visit to Loop Innovation and Technology Hub The Lok Ma Chau Loop development is a major national tech and innovation hub requiring sophisticated civil engineering works. A group of our S5 Physics students visited the education and exhibition centre to explore the advanced engineering technologies involved in the Loop construction works and the underlying principles of physics. Two award-winning advanced bridge installation methods and the Smart Site Safety System (SSSS) were displayed through automated models and VR simulation tools. Students also participated in a talk delivered by the project engineer, who explained the timeframe of a major infrastructure project and the responsibilities of civil engineers.
