In March 2026, S1–3 students embarked on an immersive journalistic journey at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Through the visit to the CUHK Art Museum and various Colleges, students practised active listening and note-taking while interviewing guides to uncover campus "stories." Back at BBSS, workshops on March 21 and April 18 transformed these field notes into feature articles and digital news scripts. Students mastered visual literacy by pairing photos with creative captions and learned to differentiate between written and spoken English. The journey peaked at the Broadcast Gala on 25 April, where students confidently delivered news reports in individuals, pairs, and groups. Students showcased impressive intonation and eye contact, delivering polished news reports that brought their hands-on reporting to life through creative digital broadcasts.
