To celebrate Diversity Learning Day, The S3 students and their teachers embarked on an immersive cultural expedition across Hong Kong Island’s historical heart on 13 March, 2026. Led by professional guides, the group explored three iconic landmarks: the revitalized Central Market, the majestic Tai Kwun heritage complex, and the nostalgic Upper Lascar Row (Cat Street).
The journey was designed to deepen students' appreciation for both tangible architectural heritage and the intangible stories that define Hong Kong’s identity. By observing the harmony between colonial history and modern urban renewal, students gained a stronger sense of cultural confidence. A unique digital twist was added to the experience: instead of traditional reports, students captured striking photographs throughout the day. These images will serve as the foundation for digital storytelling projects, where they will be transformed into vibrant comics. This creative approach allows students to reinterpret history through a contemporary lens, ensuring that the city’s rich inheritance continues to resonate with the next generation.
