Baker’s Evergreen Elder Academy- Chinese Herbal Culture and Sachet Making
This project, sponsored by the Elder Academy Development Foundation, seeks to encourage active participation of older adults in activities and lessons, promote intergenerational harmony through the dual learn-and-teach roles within Elder Academy programmes, and advance the concept of lifelong learning.

Our junior students have formed the “Ruth Group” to serve elderly. They are not only learn Chinese Herbal Culture with the elderly , but also develop essential communication and interpersonal skills. Through this initiative, students cultivate a sense of love and responsibility, while learning the importance of respecting and caring for the elderly.

We also held a communication workshop led by a registered social worker. Students learn the art of active listening and how to initiate conversations with strangers, thereby boosting their confidence when interacting with others.
