At the invitation of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council, students from our school's worship team performed Hymns at the “United Court Christmas Evening”, demonstrating their talents through community service and using their gifts to connect with United Court residents.
As the social atmosphere at the time was relatively heavy, the worship team first performed "Silent Night" to symbolise peace coming upon every resident of United Court. For the response hymn, we chose the song "Hope," wishing to comfort the people of Hong Kong with the biblical message of faith, hope, and love. Finally, The Most Revd Andrew Chan offered a blessing, encouraging everyone not to lose hope and love even when facing current difficulties, and to let faith be the strength to move forward.
