The Student Union's teacher-student basketball game aims to promote communication and unity between teachers and students, enhancing the cohesion of the school community. Through the competition, the Student Union members can improve their organizational and coordination skills, strengthen teamwork, and experience the sense of achievement that comes from hosting an event. Participants not only showcase their basketball techniques but also cultivate a sense of competition and sportsmanship, fostering friendships. Teachers, by participating or cheering, can enhance interactions with students and promote mutual understanding. Additionally, the support and encouragement from the spectators create an enthusiastic atmosphere, motivating players to perform at their best, making the entire event more enjoyable and meaningful.
A total of four teacher-student teams participated in the competition this year. We are grateful to the four teachers who got on the field and gave it their all. We also thank Principal Ng Yau-mei, Shirley for coming to officiate the opening ceremony, and for encouraging and cheering on all the teacher and student athletes.
