Our S.1 students recently showcased their artistic flair and literary insight in the Bookmark Competition. This activity challenged students to bridge the gap between visual art and literature by creating a unique bookmark inspired by a book of their choice.
Participants weren't just drawing; they were required to carefully select a meaningful quote that resonated with them and integrate it into their artwork. Furthermore, students provided a written reflection explaining their design choices and the personal significance of their chosen quote. The entries displayed an impressive range of creativity, from intricate hand-drawn illustrations to bold, modern graphic layouts.
